Trisha Simmons has been acting professionally in film and television
for the past 25 years.She can currently be seen in the new ABC hit Desperate
Housewives, and in the upcoming features Kill Switch and
The Metro Chase. She was recurring on Nickelodeon’s Amanda
Show and All That as well as NBC's ER. Trisha has
done over 100 Commercials, Television Shows, Feature Films, and Plays.
She has studied with such renowned coaches as Stella Adler, Milton Katselas,
William Chow (China), The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts
(England), The Actors Alley, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Pittsburgh
Playhouse. She’s the former owner of the LA Film Actors’
Lab, one of Hollywood’s finest acting schools and has assisted
many of LA’s top casting directors. Trisha has taught acting seminars
at UCLA, Pepperdine and many schools around the country. She has written
several books on acting. Trisha currently owns KidsAct, a company dedicated
to young performers. Her class has been featured in The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Los Angeles Daily News, Elle Magazine, Backstage
West, Showbiz Kids, and on CBS, CNN, TBN & The Tonight
Show.
